Why does the EMIF toolkit fail to recognize the memory interface when it is generated in the Platform Designer?

Environment

    Quartus® II Web Edition
BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

If you cannot find the memory interface generated by the Platform Designer when using the EMIF toolkit, verify that you have copied the .sopcinfo file into your project folder.

Resolution

Copy the .sopcinfo file into your project folder.
