Description You may get this error when trying to run the "Regtest" Java application if the MAX PLUS II software is not installed in the c:\maxplus2 directory. The "Regtest" application is included with the Altera CRC MegaCore function; it allows you to generate random test vectors which can be used to test the MegaCore function.

To avoid this problem, perform the following steps:

  1. Create a directory called maxplus2 on your C: drive.
  2. Copy the setacf.exe file from the directory where the MAX PLUS II software has been installed to the newly-created c:\maxplus2 directory.
