Why am I unable to enable a remote jtagserver to allow remote clients to connect to my local JTAG server?

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description

You may be unable to enable your remote JTAG server if you do not have adminstrator (admin) access to your machine. If you are not an admin and try to enable the remote JTAG server you will see "Remote clients are disabled" in the Windows command prompt when you type in "jtagconfig --serverinfo"

In the Quartus® II GUI if you try to enable the remote clients by adding a check to the "Enable remote clients to connect to the local JTAG server" and do not have admin access you will see the "Enable remote clients to connect to the local JTAG server" unchecked once you exit and return to the "Configure Local JTAG Server" pop-up window.

Resolution Request your IT department to install the Quartus II software using their admin access or they will need to install the jtagserver.exe file in the Quartus II install directory/bin folder using admin access.
