Why is my Altera device listed in the MAX PLUS® II or QuartusTM software but not in the LeonardoSpectrum software for Altera version 1999.1j? (Exemplar)

Environment

BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
Description Several Altera devices are missing from the initial release of the LeonardoSpectrum software for Altera version 1999.1j. These devices will be added in the next Altera-specific release of the software.

A number of devices with an Industrial speed grade (I in the part number instead of C) are not listed. For these cases, simply choose the corresponding C device, because the programming file and timing information for the I device will be identical to the C device.

For the missing devices below, enter none for Device and Speed Grade in the LeonardoSpectrum software. Assign the desired device after you bring the EDIF file into the MAX PLUS II or Quartus software; don't run place and route (P&R) directly from the LeonardoSpectrum synthesis tool.
