Environment

  • Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Edition
  • BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
    Description

Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro Platform Designer software version 18.0 and later,  HPS EMAC0 MODE doesn’t update from RGMII to GMII in the <project_name>.sopcinfo file after having changed the EMAC0 mode from RGMII to GMII on Intel® Arria® 10 Hard Processor System and regenerating  the design in Platform designer.

    Resolution

When you use this <project_name>.sopcinfo file to generate the dts,  edit the dts file directly to change the EMAC mode from RGMII to GMII.
