Intel® Graphics Software VRAM Performance Tuning Settings Not Working as Expected

Content Type: Troubleshooting   |   Article ID: 000100491   |   Last Reviewed: 03/07/2025

Environment

Operating System

Windows® 10*, Windows 11*

Description

In intel Graphics Software, small changes in VRAM speed can be applied. Both GPU-Z and benchmark apps could verify the result.

However, even though it showed 20Gbps in the intel Graphics Software after rebooting the system, GPU-Z and benchmarks showed that the VRAM was running at 2375MHz (19Gbps). At the same time, the GPU Tuning parameters (Voltage Limit, Power Limit, and Frequency Offset) were re-applied correctly.

The intel Graphics Software can "remember" all the user configurations, but only the VRAM Tuning is not re-applied after reboot.

Also, big changes in these settings make the system crash.
