Enshrouded* Crashes on Launch

During launch, Enshrouded* immediately closes again with no error message. This issue happens when the player selects the Max Quality option for the Texture Resolution setting. After setting this option and trying to restart the game, the game will silently crash on startup.

Intel is currently investigating this issue. Contact Intel Customer Support for more information.

In the meantime, you can try the following workaround

• Navigate to the directory of the game: in Steam, right-click the game & select Manage->Browse local files
• Delete the file enshrouded_local.json

This will cause the game to revert the Texture Resolution setting, allowing the game to launch. Then after launch:

• Set Texture Resolution setting to any value other than Max Quality.
