Intel® Processor for Desktop Compatibility and BIOS Update





Intel® Processor for Desktop, specifically the Intel® processor 300, uses the LGA1700 socket and require motherboards based on Intel® 700 Series Desktop Chipsets and Intel® 600 Series Desktop Chipsets. It is always good to check with your system manufacturer, to make sure you have the latest BIOS/FW/CSME for your processor. Refer to BIOS Updates list.

The Intel® Processors for Desktop aren't compatible with motherboards based on Intel® 500 Series Desktop Chipsets, Intel® 400 Series Desktop Chipset, Intel® 300 Series Chipset, Intel® 200 Series Chipset and Intel® 100 Series Chipset.

Intel® processor 300 supports up to DDR5 4800 MT/s and up to DDR4 3200 MT/s speeds.
