Windows* Responsiveness on Systems with Intel® Xeon® W-3400 & W-2400 Processors
- Intel is aware of reports from end users experiencing system lag while their Xeon W-3400/2400 systems are set to the Balanced power policy in Microsoft Windows*.
- System lag can include but is not limited to application start time or longer than expected response time to user interaction with the operating system.
This behavior is under investigation and solutions are being evaluated but as a temporary mitigation, users can enable the High Performance power policy in Microsoft Windows.
