Boxed Packaging for Intel® Core™ i9 Processor 14900K and Intel® Core™ i9 Processor 14900KS
The Intel® Core™ i9 processor 14900K and special edition Intel® Core™ i9 processor 14900KS boxed processors have transitioned to a standard box design. Customers may find both box options for i9-14900K or i9-14900KS available in the market. The premium box design for i9-14900K/KS, where the processor is located inside a silver plastic wafer package, has been discontinued and will no longer be offered by Intel.
The images below show the premium box package for Intel® Core™ i9 processor 14900K (left), as well as the standard package (right).
Same box changes apply for the Intel® Core™ i9 processor 14900KS, but the box will show special edition.
