3440 x 1440 Resolution Not Working for Laptop Using Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics

Dell Vostro 3500 laptop, LG-35WN75C-B.AEU monitor.

Description

3440x1440 resolution stopped working. It automatically changed to 1920x1080 resolution and can't change to any other resolution.

As a workaround, install the graphics driver version 30.0.101.1404 and check for the latest Windows* updates.
If the issue persists, contact the System Manufacturer since they might have set resolution limitations in the system. Note: For Dell systems, check the article Resolution on External Monitor Limited to 1920 x 1080 or 1900 x1200 Using HDMI for further details on this issue.
