0402 - RID:0193 TS:07/27/2023 19:56:38 SN:PCIe Cor Sensor ST:PCIe Interrupt ED: Bad TLP Bus: 74 Device: 2 Function: 0 - OEM ET:Asserted EC:OK

Resolution

When a PCIe* correctable error is reported to the BIOS SMI handler, it records the error as PCIe* interrupt / Bad TLP, only one or two times, there are two options:

  1. Ignore the event, and monitor the server. If the entry does not appear anymore, the error is solved by itself.
  2. Re-seat the controller on the correspondent riser and slot (SEL log indicates this)
    • Example:
      "Bus: 74 Device: 2 Function: 0" Represent Riser 1 Slot 1"
Note

If the event appears multiple times in a short period, the best recommendation is to replace the controller.
