Troubleshooting steps to check the error message of "Something went wrong" for Intel® Unison™ PC App

Description

I successfully installed the Intel® Unison™ PC App and opened it on the PC.

But encountered this error message: Something went wrong. We’re sorry, but we couldn't start the app. Please come back later.

Resolution

Check Intel® Unison™ System Requirements.

Download and install the Intel® Unison™ PC App only from the Microsoft* Store App

Search the Intel® Unison™ App from the Phone App or scan the QR Code or Text Code then install it.

Enable Wireless and Bluetooth for both devices.

Check the Bluetooth name for both PC and Phone device to use the same name.

Check Phone’s Bluetooth > Additional Settings > Block Pairing Request/ Bluetooth Blocklist > Remove PC from the list.

Check Intel® Unison™ App is not blocked by other software.

Pair and connect Bluetooth on both PC and Phone devices.

Connect PC and Phone devices to the same network environment.

Open Intel® Unison™ PC App

 

To terminate, repair, or reset Intel® Unison™ PC App

Type Intel® Unison™ in Windows Search.

Right-click the Intel® Unison™ icon.

Select App settings.

Click Terminate, Repair, or Reset if the Intel® Unison™ app has an issue.

To clean install the Intel® Unison™ PC App

Remove Bluetooth from both PC and Phone devices.

Click Terminate.

Click Uninstall.

Reboot PC.

Download and install the Intel® Unison™ PC App only from the Microsoft* Store App.
