When Using an Intel® Arc™ A380 Graphics Card, the Mouse Cursor Has Its Movement Inverted on a Secondary Monitor Set in Portrait Mode

Description

When the Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - WHQL - Windows* drivers are installed on Windows 11 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 22621), the principal monitor works correctly, but the second monitor connected in portrait mode has the mouse cursor movement inverted.

Resolution

  1. Test different DP ports.
  2. Make sure BIOS is up-to-date. Go to the OEM support for instructions on how to update your system's BIOS.
  3. Make sure your Operating System is up-to-date.
  4. Perform clean driver installation with latest driver available and DDU software.
  5. If you are using multiple GPUs, test using only the A380 video card and physically disconnect any other 3rd party video card installed and remove it's drivers.

Additional information

When the streaming is started using the OBS Studio software and selecting the affected monitor as the monitor capture source, the issue is resolved while the streaming is running.
