Description

There is no option to turn on variable refresh rate in Intel® Arc™ Control, Intel® Graphics Command Center (both versions), or the Windows* settings.

Intel® Arc™ Control says the display is incompatible with VRR.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in driver 31.0.101.4972.

Perform a clean driver installation using Display Driver Uninstaller:

  1. Uninstall the current driver using Display Driver Uninstaller. Refer to How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver instructions.
  2. Go to the Download Center and download the latest driver available.
  3. While the system is in safe mode, install the driver on the system. Refer to How to Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 & Windows 11 for installation instructions.
  4. Restart the system.
