Describes the issue in which the VRR option in Intel® Arc™ Control shows disabled when using AOC 27G2 monitor.
Description
There is no option to turn on variable refresh rate in Intel® Arc™ Control, Intel® Graphics Command Center (both versions), or the Windows* settings.
Intel® Arc™ Control says the display is incompatible with VRR.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in driver 31.0.101.4972.
Perform a clean driver installation using Display Driver Uninstaller:
- Uninstall the current driver using Display Driver Uninstaller. Refer to How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an Intel® Graphics Driver instructions.
- Go to the Download Center and download the latest driver available.
- While the system is in safe mode, install the driver on the system. Refer to How to Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 & Windows 11 for installation instructions.
- Restart the system.
