Ensure that your graphics drivers are updated

  • Update your graphics driver. Find more information on how to update your graphics driver.

If the graphics driver is already updated and the issue persists, perform a clean installation of the graphics driver. The driver may have been corrupted during the update process and needs to be reinstalled.

  1. Download the Intel® Graphics driver to version 31.0.101.2125 or newer.
  2. Disconnect from the internet to make sure the driver will not be automatically updated by Windows.
  3. Go back to the Intel Graphics entry in the Device Manager.
  4. Right-click Intel Graphics and click Uninstall.
  5. In the device removal dialog box, check Delete the driver software for this device and click OK.
  6. Restart the computer after the uninstallation is complete.
  7. Open the Device Manager.
  8. Expand the Display adapters section again.
NoteIf no older drivers are stored in the system, the graphics controller in Device Manager should now be listed as Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, Standard VGA Graphics Adapter or similar. If not, repeat steps 3 through 5.
  9. Install the Intel® Graphics driver
  10. Reboot the computer when prompted.

NoteIf your system is a Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) , kindly download the driver from the manufacturer.s website This driver has been customized, tested and validated to run properly with your system. Get the support site of system manufacturers.
