Description

Getting an error message: Installation failed when Installing Intel® Ethernet (LAN) Driver.

Resolution

  1. Download the Intel® Ethernet (LAN) Driver for Windows® 10 or Windows 11* for Intel® NUC 11 Pro Kits & Mini PCs - NUC11TN manually.
  2. Extract the LAN-Win11-1.1.3.34.zip folder.
  3. Right-click the e2f.inf file and click Install (for Windows® 10).
    • Right-click the e2f.inf file then click Show more options and click Install (for Windows 11).
  4. Access Device Manager and check under Network Adapters if the ethernet adapters driver version is up to date.

If the latest driver version did not reflect automatically, follow the steps below:

  1. Access Device Manager then expand Network Adapters option.
  2. Right-click on Ethernet Adapter and select Update driver.
  3. Click Browse my computer for drivers.
  4. Select Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer.
  5. Select the latest ethernet driver version.
  6. Click Next to install.
  7. Once installation is done, the ethernet driver version will be up to date.
