The System Forced Restart after Installing Driver Version 31.0.101.4314

The system was forced to restart after installing the Intel® Graphics driver 31.0.101.4314 for Intel® Iris™ Xe and Intel® Arc graphics drivers.

For a workaround, follow the steps below:

1. Update BIOS.
2. Fully update the Windows Operating system, including optional download via Windows settings > Windows Update > Advanced options > Optional updates.
3. Uninstall the BETA version of the Intel Arc Control program via Add/Remove programs.
4. Get the Intel® Arc Control application from Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - WHQL - Windows*.
