Describes the Game compatibility option found on Intel® Arc™ Control and its primary function.
Looking to understand what the Game Compatibility option does and its relation to game/application performance.
What is the difference between recommended, basic, and advanced?
Game Compatibility mode applies solutions to problems (mostly functional issues such as crashes and corruptions) Intel finds in games when they are tested internally and said games have not been fully profiled by Intel yet.
When Game Compatibility is enabled the solution to the problems are applied without needing a full driver update. The different configuration levels (Recommended, Basic and Advanced) determines the complexity of the solutions that are deployed, but the changes may impact performance.
