How to Enable Volume Management Device (VMD) on Intel® Server M50FCP

Description

Does not know how to or which VMD to enable on Intel® Server M50FCP.

Resolution

Follow below steps to enable VMD in the BIOS:

  1. Power on or reboot the system.
  2. Press F2 to enter BIOS.
  3. Navigate to Advanced -> Integrated IO Configuration -> Volume Management Device.
  4. Enable the corresponding VMD based on the type of Intel® Server M50FCP.
