Intel® Arc™ Control Stuck on Message Saying, "Updating your experience"

The Intel® Arc™ Control softward included in driver 31.0.101.4032 stuck on the message "Updating your experience" on its main screen.
The issue is not present in Intel Arc Control software version 1.64.4583.3 included in Intel® Graphics Driver 31.0.101.4091 as well as later versions of the software included in more recent drivers.
Update to the latest Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics Driver.
