Intel Wireless-AC 9560 Could Not Connect to Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) Enterprise Network

Environment

Operating System (OS) Build: Windows 10 19042 Affected Driver Version: 22.10.0.7 Working Driver Version: 21.10.2.2 OS auto updates after clean installation. Driver rollback option is not available. Inbox/default driver of Windows 10 19042 is 21.10.2.2.

Summary

Rolling back the driver to version 21.10.2.2 will resolve the Intel Wireless AC 9560 connection issue

Description

Intel Wireless-AC 9560 fails to connect to WPA Enterprise with new driver versions.

Resolution

Steps to rollback driver to version 21.10.2.2.:

  1. Clean installation of operating system (OS).
  2. If OS pushes automatic updates, proceed with uninstalling the updated drivers by:
    1. Uninstall current driver, or use the option 'Roll Back Driver' and roll back all the way to 21.10.2.2.
    2. While choosing to uninstall the driver, check the option 'Delete the driver software for this device' to remove the newer drivers.
Note

Update the wireless security from WPA-TKIP enterprise to WPA2-AES enterprise (or WPA3). This is based on security considerations and better OS/driver support.
