Intel® Iris® Xe has problems with the screen freezing when playing some games.
Resolution
To solve the freezing issue on Intel® Graphics while gaming, try the following:
- Make sure that your system meets the game requirements.
- Update your game to the latest version available.
- Confirm that there is no heavy workload running in the background:
- Open the Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc).
- Click the CPU and Memory tabs to check whether anything is using up large chunks of your CPU or RAM (for instance, a web browser with many tabs open).
- Confirm that your system is up to date: the latest BIOS version, and run the latest operating system build.
- Install the latest Intel® Graphics driver.
