Resolution
There are different settings that can cause the refresh rate to change automatically related to power/charging. Try changing settings as described below:
- Disable Dynamic Refresh Rate Switching in IGCC (Intel Graphics Command Center)
- Open IGCC.
- Go to System.
- Set Dynamic Refresh Rate Switching to Off.
- Disable Power Saving Mode in IGCC
- Open IGCC.
- Go to power settings.
- Set Power Saving Mode to Off.
- If you are using a laptop or OEM (original equipment manufacturer) computer, it may have it's own software similar to IGCC which has similar settings that may also need to be turned off or disabled. In this case it would be best to contact your system manufacturer to confirm if there is such software on your laptop and how to disable the setting.
