How to Access Resource and Documentation Center (RDC) Documents via FTP Client Tools

Description

Unable to share Intel documents and files using multiple FTP applications such as FileZilla*, IPswitch*, WinSCP*, or Linux*/Win Command Line* FileZilla, Secured Confidential File Transfer (SCFT).

Resolution

  • To share Intel documents and files using different FTP applications, use your My Intel account information for the Login ID and Password.
  • Your My Intel account must have a Developer Zone Premier (DZP) privilege.
  • If DZP does not exist, register for a Premier account. Refer to How to Apply for an Intel® Resource and Documentation Center (RDC) and/or Intel® Developer Zone (DevZone) Account.
  • Contact Intel Customer Support to verify the DZP privilege status. There is no option for you to check it on your end.
  • To access Intel documents and files shared via different FTP applications, the following information or commands should be provided:

  • If you have a My Intel account and are unable to access it or are getting an error message Authentication failed, make sure that you use the correct My Intel account with SFT access.

  • For Secure Confidential File Transfer, if you are unable to log in due to password issues, reset your password or reset your username for forgotten username.
  • If the issue persists, prepare the following information and contact Intel Customer Support for assistance.
    • Email address or Login ID of your My Intel account
    • Screenshot of the error message
    • Person (The owner of the SCFT should be an Intel employee) who gives you access to the SCFT tool
    • Link to the document that you are trying to access via SCFT tool.

Additional information

Make sure you are given access to the correct project or files in Secure File Transfer (SFT) portal. Contact your Intel Field Application Engineer (Intel FAE) to get access to the project files.
