Error: “Failed to Find Booted Device after Boot” When Running Demo with Intel® Neural Compute Stick 2 (Intel® NCS2)

• Ran Inference Pipeline Demo Script with Intel® NCS2.
• Successfully ran the demo application in the first attempt.
• Encountered error in the second attempt onwards:

  E: [ncAPI] [ 150951] [security_barrie] ncDeviceOpen:1017 Failed to find booted device after boot

• Removed the mvnc.mutex file from /tmp directory.
• Successfully ran the demo application with the superuser account.

1. Change directory:
     /opt/intel/openvino_2021/install_dependencies/
2. Run install_NCS_udev_rules.sh script.

Run lsusb command in terminal to confirm that the NCS2 stick is connected to the USB port with Device ID 03e7.

Run groups command in terminal to verify that the user has been added to the NCS2 stick users group.
