How to Resolve BMC Hang Issue?

Description

BMC Web Console hangs while accessing any options in the BMC console and BIOS.

Resolution

  1. Reset the BMC to defaults without power-cycling the server through the BMC Console GUI, if not, do a power cycle reset by removing the power cable from the server and reinsert the same after 20 seconds.
  2. Check the BIOS, BMC firmware primary, and backup is updated to latest.
  3. Update the BIOS Firmware through UEFI once again.
  4. Reconfigure the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) by following these steps.
  5. If the issue persists, share the BMC Debug logs and Sysinfo logs with Technical Support.
