The package design for Intel® Core™ i9-12900K and Intel® Core™ i9-12900KS processors have transitioned into a standard box design. Customers may find i9-12900K or i9-12900KS available in the market in the premium box design, where the processor is located inside a golden plastic wafer package. However, this design has been discontinued and is no longer offered by Intel.
