Summary
Steps to perform when Blender 3D program is not recognizing OpenGL when using Intel® Graphics.
Description
Unable to run Blender 3D since it does not recognize OpenGL.
Resolution
If you face this issue, try the following suggestions:
- Make sure your system meets the minimum requirements to run Blender 3D.
- Make sure your Intel® Graphics supports the needed or a newer OpenGL version for the program. You can check that information in our Product Specifications page under Memory Specifications > OpenGL Support.
- Update the graphics drivers to the latest version. You can download the latest graphics driver in our Download Center. If using a laptop, all-in-one or pre-built desktop computer, you may also try checking with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for customized graphics drivers. See How to Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 & Windows 11*.
- If using a hybrid graphics configuration, make sure there is no interference between the integrated graphics and the dedicated graphics. You may want to contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to check on this.
If after all of these steps the issue persists, please contact the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for further assistance.
