When trying to install an Intel® Graphics driver, the following error appears: The setup program failed to install one or more device drivers. Setup will exit.
Resolution
Method 1: Configure Group Policy Settings
- Click Start, type gpedit.msc in the search box, and then press ENTER. This opens the Local Group Policy Editor. (Click Yes if you are prompted.)
- In Local Group Policy Editor, Expand Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Device Installation, and then click Device Installation Restrictions.
- In the right window, double-click Prevent installation of devices not described by other policy settings.
- Click to select disabled, and then click OK.
- Restart the computer.
Method 2: Windows Update
- Click Start, type Windows Update settings, and press ENTER.
- Click Check for updates
- Install the driver update available
