Not able to get Intel® Ethernet Converged Network Adapter XL710-QDA2 working. Validated transceivers not used.

Resolution

Keeping the right polarity is essential to the network since the MPO/MTP connector is an important component key on one side of the connector body.

There are Type A, B, C cables. Type A is a straight-through and won't match up the Tx to the Rx, type B cable is a crossover cable and type C is pair-wise cross-over.

Knowing the polarity of MPO/MTP system helps to get a better upgrade the 40G and 100G networks. According to different polarity methods, choosing the right MPO/MTP cables, connectors and cassettes will provide greater flexibility and reliability high density network.
