  • Full capacity of the drive not shown in OS. 
  • Drive does not show full capacity in Windows*.  Example: A 1TB SSD shows 960 GB of capacity available.
Resolution

The OS reserves some capacity of the SSD for recovery. It is normal to not see the full capacity of the drive reflected in the OS.
