Why Does the Six-Core Intel® Core™ i5-9400F Processor Only Show Four Cores in Task Manager?

After replacing a quad-core Intel® Core™ i3-8100 Processor with a six-core Intel® Core™ i5-9400F Processor, the number of cores reported in task manager is still four, but shows as six in the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System).
