Green System Status LED blinks when system is running

Resolution

The Status light always blinking in the server’s front panel when a S1200SPSR board is installed inside a 3rd party chassis

To stop the LED from flashing yellow, please follow the next steps:

  1. Login into BMC (Open an Internet browser and type in the IP address that was setup in the system BIOS for the BMC Web Console).
  2. Once this page is opened, please click on the Configuration tab at the top.
  3. Click on the Alerts option on the left.
  4. When you get to this option please set the Enable SDR Auto-configuration to Disable.
  5. Now, by disabling this option you may go ahead and uncheck the option that is called Enable SDR Auto-configuration and save the changes.
