DisplayPort on Intel® NUC Isn't Working

Summary

Troubleshooting steps to fix issues when DisplayPorts (DP) are not connecting on Intel® NUCs.

Description

No display when using the mini DisplayPort output on the below Intel NUCs:

  • Intel® NUC Kit NUC6i7KYK
Resolution

There can be several causes for this issue:

  • Intel graphics driver isn't installed.
  • An old graphics driver is installed.
  • Defective Display Port cable.

Try the following troubleshooting steps to fix the issue:

  1. Try a different Display Port cable and a different monitor/TV.
  2. Install the latest graphics driver for your Intel NUC, available on Download Center.
  3. Update BIOS to the latest version available.


If none of the steps above worked:

  1. Check other video ports if you still have a display.
  2. Perform a BIOS recovery.

If those steps don’t fix the issue, contact Customer Support.
