Description
System is reporting one of the sensors as faulty: BB +12.0V.
Resolution
Regarding the Baseboard +12V (BB +12.0V) sensor (Sensor# D0h), the +12 V is supplied by the power supplies and used by SATA drives, fans, and PCI-E* cards. Additionally, it is used to generate various processor voltages. As a result, proceed as recommended in the Threshold-based voltage sensors - next steps section in the corresponding System Event Log (SEL) Troubleshooting guide:
- Ensure all cables are connected correctly.
- Check connections on the fans and hard disk drives (HDDs).
- If the issue follows the component, swap it.
