Resolution

The driver may have been corrupted during the update process and needs to be reinstalled.

  1. Uninstall the graphics driver. Visit How To Uninstall the Intel® Graphics Driver and Intel® Display HDMI/Audio Driver for more information.
  2. Download and install the latest Intel® HD Graphics driver provided by the Original Equipment Manufacturer. This driver has been customized, tested and validated to run properly with your laptop.

If the issue persists even with the latest driver provided by your system manufacturer, then you may want to consider restoring your operating system to a previously functioning state. See How to do a Windows® 10 Recovery for details.

As a last resort you may also test with our latest generic graphics driver from Download Center. This is an alternative driver and can be used only if the customized driver from original equipment manufacturer (OEM) has issues.
Do not use adapters on the video cables.  Connection needs to be straight. HDMI to HDMI, VGA to VGA, etc.
Check the laptop form factor.  It's possible that the graphics controller allows the multi-display but the laptop does not have more than 1 video output.

Laptops have dedicated support groups that can help any issue that the device can encounter. Contact the device manufacturer for further support.
