The depth stream from the camera has unknown data

The depth stream from the camera has a lot of unknown data. I have tried rebooting, resetting parameters using presets, but the depth stream continues to look bad.
Restore calibration to factory defaults using the custom calibration tool. You can find instructions in section 5.1 on page 45 in the Dynamic Calibrator User Guide.
Make sure that you are using the latest RealSense SDK 2.0 version. You can find it here.
