Description

How to connect devices and displays that support Thunderbolt™

Resolution

This problem is most likely a compatibility issue. It should be reported and handled by system manufacturers since we have tested other displays and Thunderbolt™ 3 adapters successfully.

Most recent configuration we successfully used for Thunderbolt™ 3 included :
- Intel® NUC Kit NUC7i5BNK
- Startech TB3 Dual-4K docking station part# TB3DK2DPW
- Acer B286HK 4K monitor via DP 1.2
- LG OLED55E6P via DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 adapter
- Both monitor and TV were successfully recognized and worked fine while using the Thunderbolt™ 3 docking listed.

Additionally, Thunderbolt™ is customized by each system manufacturer differently on their platforms. For this reason, our recommendation is that you can contact your system manufacturer to receive accurate information about their products.
