How to Locate the Printed Board Assembly (PBA) Number of a Power Distribution Board (PDB) of an Intel® Server Chassis P4000M

Why am I using this procedure?

Use this procedure to locate the Printed Board Assembly (PBA) number for the power distribution board (PDB) of an Intel® Server Chassis P4000M.

The PBA number is required for warranty replacements.

What steps do I take?

Just to be 100% sure, see to it the system is turned off.

1. Remove the power supply units:
   
2. Remove the black screw on the front side of the PDB:
   

3. Remove the internal screw located against the back panel, behind the front black screw:
   

4. Remove the PDB.

5. Remove the three screws from the back side of the PDB.
   

6. Remove the metal plate.
   

The PBA number should now be viewable:
