On the Intel® Server Board S5000PSL quick start guide revision (D36218-002), on page 2, step 8, the power cable connections suggested on Step B to connect the Auxiliary Power Signal to the server board.

The Intel® Server Chassis SC5299-E has 3 variations, DP, WS and BRP. Only the BRP (Base Redundant Power) has the auxiliary power connector that you can connect to the server board. The DP and WS SKUs do not have an auxiliary power connector present.

For more information on the Intel® Server Chassis SC5299-E available power supplies and SKUs, please refer to the Technical Product Specification.

The information on the Quick Start Guide for the Intel® Server Board S5000PSL will be revised to add a note to indicate that the Auxiliary Power Signal on the Intel® Server Chassis SC5299-E is only available on the BRP SKU.
