What am I seeing?
When you set the BIOS setting, EFI Optimized Boot in Boot Options, to Enabled, the following occurs:
- The BIOS does not detect Intel® RAID Controllers, nor does it see any present Ethernet I/O module to do a PXE*-boot from.
- You're unable to install an operating system into a GPT (GUID Partition Table) partition disk on an Intel® RAID Controller under the UEFI environment.
Can I fix it?
This issue is a known limitation in the BIOS of the Intel® Server Board S1200BT family, and there is no solution available.
