Silent Installation Issue with Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility

One of the following issues occurred after performing a silent installation of the Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility:

• HKLM\Software\Intel\InfInst registry key wasn't created.
• HKLM\Software\Intel\InfInst registry key value doesn't = Success.

This issue occurs when your system doesn't meet one of the installation requirements:

• Unsupported operating system
• Unsupported chipset

Install the Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility on a system with a supported chipset and a supported operating system.
