File Copying Was Not Successful. Setup Will Exit - Error Message

What am I seeing?
When I try to install Intel® Matrix Storage Manager version 8.x from within Windows*, I get this error message:
File copying was not successful. Setup will exit.
Why am I seeing it?
When a language that is not supported by the software is chosen for the operating system setting language for non-unicode applications, the driver file, iastor.sys, is successfully installed. However, all of the remaining files are not.
How to fix it
This issue was resolved with Intel® Rapid Storage Technology version 9.5 or later.
If you are using an older version of the software, in order to successfully install all files, you need to select a language supported by the software for the language for non-unicode applications setting during operating system installation.
