Boot Timeout Setting in Intel® Server Board BIOS

You can set the Intel® Server Board BIOS to pause at the end of POST. This change gives you time to press F2 to enter BIOS or other boot option keys.

How do I change the System Boot Timeout setting?

  1. In the initial setup screen, go to Setup Menu > Boot Maintenance Manager > Advanced Boot Options.

  2. Change the System Boot Timeout setting by entering the number of seconds you want the BIOS to pause.
