The video refers to the installation of LGA1156 socket processors and fan–heat sinks. The instructions also apply to LGA1155-based processors due to the similarity between the installation processes. The boxed fan-heat sink installation is the same for both sockets since the fan–heat sink footprint is the same.
LGA1156-based processors and LGA1155-based processors are not compatible between sockets due to electrical, mechanical, and keying differences.
