Why does the MegaWizard Plug-In Manager hang?

Environment

  • Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition
    • BUILT IN - ARTICLE INTRO SECOND COMPONENT
    Description

    Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Standard Edition software version 17.1 Update 1 and earlier, you may see the MegaWizard™ Plug-In Manager window hang when you try to edit the content parameter.

     

    Resolution

    To workaround the problem, expand the MegaWizard Plug-In Manager window before doing anything else.
