Yes. If you are using transceiver Multi-PLL reconfiguration feature to switch from/to the transmitter PLL outside the transceiver block, it does not reconfigure properly if the “logic_tx_pll_sel” port is not enabled in ALTGX_RECONFIG MegaWizard™ Plug-In Manager. This issue is associated with Stratix® IV GX/GT devices.
This issue is observed in both simulation and silicon. All Quartus® II software versions are affected by this issue.
The workaround is to enable “logic_tx_pll_sel” port in ALTGX_RECONFIG MegaWizard Plug-In Manager and use it during reconfiguration.
No Quartus II fix is planned. A message will be added in future Quartus II releases, reminding user to enable the “logic_tx_pll_sel” port in ALTGX_RECONFIG MegaWizard Plug-In Manager.
