ELTAN Coreboot bootloader based on Intel® FSPWe offer various bootloader products. These are intended for fixed functions devices. We offer complete firmware implementations for reference boards. These implementations are stable and fully tested. They can be used as a base for further development. We have reference implementations for coreboot, Intel® BLDK and UEFI based bootloaders. We offer development environments and configured and tested tool chains for the coreboot, BLDK and UEFI development that save precious development time. Eltan SlimBoot is a modern bootloader for the Intel® processors and is based on the Intel® Slim Bootloader (SBL) and FSP 2.0. SlimBoot uses a layered model. The actual SlimBoot layer takes care of the system initialization. On top of this, payloads are supported to provide the desired functionality. SlimBoot can securely boot a hypervisor or operating system using IAS images (Intel® Automotive Service image format). Tools are provided to create those images. This will simply launch the OS without providing runtime support to the OS. In addition SlimBoot also supports a TianoCore payload in order to boot operating systems that require UEFI and UEFI secure boot. Other payloads will be made available and it is possible to add custom payload or use LinuxBoot as a payload on top of SlimBoot. Updating the SlimBoot firmware is performed in a secure way using signed capsules. SlimBoot contains a small, extensible shell that can be used for debugging and diagnosing purposes. It can be left out easily to save space or prevent security issues. Eltan SlimBoot uses the EDK II build system used in TianoCore and can use TianoCore libraries. Because of this existing libraries can be reused easily and libraries that are developed can be reused in the TianoCore payload or even in a full UEFI BIOS without an issue. So duplicate development efforts can be prevented! SIimBoot is carrying a BSD license. Eltan SlimBoot is currently available for Intel® (formerly Apollo Lake). During this period standard implementations and advanced development projects have been executed for our customers providing Eltan a very deep knowledge of bootloader development. We offer coreboot implementations for all x86 processors. For Intel®, these can be based on FSP or using MRC code. For the Intel® processors supported by FSP, we also provide other types of bootloader implementations. We are working very closely with Intel® on FSP and together with our deep knowledge we can perfectly integrate FSP in your solution. We offer custom UEFI firmware ranging from drivers to a UDK2010, UDK2014 or EDKII based bootloader. Eltan has created a development environment for coreboot and UEFI bootloader development and debugging. Using these development tools we deliver reliable customized bootloader implementations for the latest technology available.

The eSPI POST Code Card is a tool which monitors the eSPI bus and performs the functions: display the Post codes (port 80 and port 81) output Post codes to the serial port (port 80 up to port 83) A valuable tool for bringing-up new hardware design and debugging the BIOS of the x86 design. The Eltan eSPI POST code card monitors the eSPI signals between the eSPI Master (the chipset) and an eSPI slave (BMC chip, eSPI embedded controller, or Super IO chip) on the main board. In case the main board does not have such eSPI slave chip then the eSPI POST Card with eSPI Slave is available. The eSPI POST Code Card can be connected to the system using the eSPI header (2x10 pins 0.1"pitch).
