Evolving data centers into intelligent hubs for a data-driven business poses numerous challenges. To help you find answers to the questions you are facing in the digital transformation early on, Fujitsu has created the DX Innovation Platform together with leading technology partners such as Intel®, Juniper, NetApp, SUSE and many others. The DX Innovation Platform helps designing and implementing AI, data, and containerization applications on a modern architecture. For example, the AI Test Drive (which is part of the DX Innovation Platform) runs on Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors and leverages tools such as the OpenVINO™ toolkit to simplify deep learning inference deployment for hundreds of pre-trained models. The Fujitsu Sentiment Analyzer was developed on this platform: When analyzing social networks, comments, or emails, enterprises need to process unpredictably large amounts of information. The sentiment analyzer solves this problem through AI-based evaluation of the information. Another AI use case supported by the DX Innovation Platform is detecting electric vehicles by the car’s license plate, utilizing a technique of unconstrained automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) using OpenVINO™ (Open Visual Inference & Neural Network Optimization) Toolkit 2022.1. The Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ Toolkit enables developers to quickly optimize and deploy the AI workloads with improved performance across Intel® platforms from edge to cloud. As part of the optimization using the Fujitsu AI Test Drive, the detection rate was increased from 2.3 e-vehicles per second to values of over 5,000 frames/s.

The Fujitsu PRIMERGY RX2540 M7 generation x86 server based on dual-sockets delivers the latest in performance, improved usability, and flexible expandability in an optimized compact 2U chassis. A performance improvement of more than 40% compared to the previous generation can be expected with the combination of up to 60 CPU cores, DDR5 memory, 4 UPI links, PCIe 5.0 support and excellent expandability with up to 12x 3.5” SAS/SATA or up to 24x 2.5” SAS/SATA/NVMe storage devices.
